Problem
Develop a digital platform to promote energy efficiency. This was a challenge proposed by Bosch Aveiro.
Solution
Cohabit is a company that addresses the shortage of student housing while promoting sustainable habits through smart residences equipped with IoT devices. These residences are managed by software that monitors energy and water consumption, allowing users to control various devices. The platform includes a gamification system where they complete sustainability challenges to earn rewards and compete in a friendly manner. The software is available as a mobile app for individual management of consumption and devices; and as a dashboard version in common areas, enabling collective monitoring, event creation, and access to rankings and weekly challenges.
